Third Lane Labs makes small, useful apps for everyday life — apps that remember what matters to you and leave it in your hands. First out of the lab: YumYum Shuffle, which settles where to eat in one tap.
The lab
A few ideas at different stages. Each one is labeled honestly, so you know what you can use today and what is still an experiment.
One tap decides dinner. Keep a list of the places you like, spin for a quick pick, or run a knockout round when the group can’t agree.
Your places, spins, visits and ratings live only on your device and are never uploaded.
Helps families stay close to an aging parent, and records their stories in their own voice before they’re lost. Private by default, with consent built in and an easy way to take everything with you.
In developmentThe things you’ve chosen, said and kept, held by you instead of a dozen companies — portable between apps, and readable by whichever assistant you choose.
ExploringTurns a landscape photo taken at low sun or by moonlight into a painting, rendered sharp enough to print and hang.

How we build
Three stories running side by side: what you chose, what you said, and what you kept. Good decisions come from that context — and the third lane is the path you didn’t see at first.
A choice, a story, a photograph. Context is easy to record in the moment and nearly impossible to rebuild later, so that’s when our apps ask.
What you put in belongs to you. Export it, delete it for real, or leave whenever you like. Your data is never held hostage.
We say what we know, what we’re guessing, and who — or what — wrote it. No overclaiming, especially about AI.

Third Lane Labs was founded in 2026 by Rob Infinger. Rob’s background is in quality and data — getting the right information in front of the people who need it, in a form they can actually use. The lab is where that habit meets everyday life.
Everything here is built to last. An app that can’t be sustained eventually stops keeping what you trusted it with, so we would rather grow slowly than make promises we can’t keep.
